While studying fashion illustration in Florence, Italy, hard copy resources such as magazines and fabric scraps were used to conduct target market research and moodboard creation. Illustrated collection by means of hand-drawing, coloring, and shading.

"Taking you back to the cornfields on vintage American postcards or sitting on a Virginia porch on a hot summer's afternoon. Think of female country singers, like Dolly Parton and Loretta Lynn. Romantic fluttering dresses in faded trickling stripes worn together with straw hats."
